I just recently discovered that my little guy just loves bananas and cucumbers. I assume they're good for him to have, but I'd like to double check you with guys. So, are those good for hedgies?

What kind of meats do you give your hedgies? (if any?)

I gave my girls a VERY thinly sliced piece of turkey, (handfeeding) and they both went absolutely nuts. Hehehe.

Last night Billy was uptight so I decided to treat her with some yummies. I gave her this piece of roast chicken that was saved in the fridge... and she INHALED IT right in front of me. So... Hi everyone. I've been reading the community for a while and tonight I got my first hedgehog. He is quite friendly so far and let me carry him in my hands easily. He has only balled up once, and just for a second, he came unrolled right away. I think he is incredibly social. So I bought by little guy a giant 12 inch wheel for Christmas, now I want to get him some treats.
What would you recommend?
I don't know if treats for bunnies and other small mammalsare okay.
I really don't want to get him meal worms or crickets, moral reasons on my part.
